Fall 2017 - New York and London Fashion Week

Fall 2017 Shows : From New York to London!

Jumping back in with the Fall 2017 shows seemed like the best way to get back into the blogging groove (It’s been a while! More on that another time!). The anticipation of what may be in store from those stylish cities was to much to let pass without taking a peek. I’ve decided to make it more personal and share the pieces that I really do find inspiring and might even wear! In all honesty, that did sieve out a large proportion of pieces, but there was still a lot to love on offer…

I’ll begin with the looks that had a cooler tone to their palette – I do love a colour theme! So, first off  we have one of the fresh faces from London in the form of Eudon Choi, there was just something about the blue/grey/khaki tones and the cosy looking knits that made me feel like I was having a feast. Next we have a beautifully classic look from Jil Sander Navy – this is definitely one I would be happy to wear! Toga comes next, then another gorgeous set of pieces from TSE: I loooved these cool, muted knits, I can just imagine cosying up by the fire in them, delicious!…

Our second selection has a moderately warmer theme to it: from blush to black via mustard and Nude. On the lighter side we have a stylish ensemble from Emilia Wickstead; followed by a look from the Palmer Harding show which really caught my eye – think it was all the folds and layers! Dennis Basso comes next with a postal piece; then a subtly gorgeous selection from M.Martin. Lastly we have Oscar de la Renta and Jenny Packham

For the last selection there is actually some bright colour! In my style I tend towards more muted colours but I really need to start branching out into brighter pieces. Maybe these will kick me into it! We begin with Tory Burch, then onto a delightfully bright Peter Pilotto. Finally we have an amazing, bright, vibrant collection from Mary Katrantzou. Mary used influences from Disney’s Fantasia to bring her collection to life, anything Disney and I’m taking note!…
